Cost per hire

Cost per hire is the total recruiting cost — advertising, recruiter time, tools, screening and onboarding — divided by the number of drivers actually hired in the period. In driver recruiting it is the metric that exposes cheap leads as expensive hires.

01

Why it matters when hiring drivers

Fleets that manage to cost per lead often discover their real constraint later in the funnel: hundreds of low-cost applicants, few of them eligible, recruiter hours consumed on triage, and a cost per seated driver several times what the ad dashboard implied. Measuring to the hire — not the click — changes which channels look good.

Call2Action's model is built around qualified candidates rather than raw lead volume.
